Boostii benefit

Turku
Starting from January 1, 2025, the City of Turku will annually provide a benefit for sports hobbies to every Turku resident aged 7–19. The child or young person can use the benefit to pay for guided sports activities organised by a local club or association in Turku (the hobby must last at least 3 months). In 2026, the benefit during the calendar year is: * 7–11-year-olds 160 euros (child's birth year 2015–2019) * 12–19-year-olds 260 euros (child's birth year 2007–2014) The benefit receiver's age is calculated according to the birth year. The City decides on the amount and the conditions separately each year. Any remaining Boostii benefits from 2025 cannot be used during 2026. The benefit for 2026 can be used as of January 1, 2026.

Instructions

The guardian logs in to the electronic system with strong identification and chooses the child, on which behalf they are managing affairs. A person, who has turned 18, identifies themselves and pays the bill.

For whom and under what conditions

Every child and young person aged 7–19 living in Turku is entitled to the benefit and there is no need to apply separately for the benefit. The Boostii benefit is personal. Those associations and clubs that are part of the activity är listed in the electronic payment system.
